In a world that often feels fast-paced and overwhelming, how do we help our children maintain their natural sense of wonder and inner peace? At Unity of Fort Myers, our Youth & Family Ministry is a sacred space where we help kids recognize and stay grounded in their own divine nature.
We focus on three essential states of being that prepare children for a purposeful life:
Creative — We believe every child is the individual expression of Divine Creativity. By nurturing this spirit, we help them see possibilities where others see problems. Whether through art, storytelling, or play, we encourage them to express the unique vibration they are, bringing new form to the Divine Idea.
Curious — Spiritual growth begins with a question. We celebrate the Curious mind, providing a safe environment where kids can explore big ideas without the pressure of having “the right” answer. Here, curiosity is the bridge to a deeper understanding of themselves and the wonderful possibilities within the world around them.
Centered — This is our anchor. In our ministry, children learn practical spiritual tools—like affirmative prayer and mindfulness—to stay Centered. When the world feels chaotic, these tools allow them to return to the quiet realization that they are the Source in expression, remaining stable and impowered.:
Our Leadership: These sessions are guided by our Youth & Family Ministry Director, Kathy Pugliese. With four years of dedicated leadership at Unity of Fort Myers and her extensive background as an Experienced Educator, Kathy ensures that our spiritual lessons are developmentally grounded, engaging, and—most importantly — fun!
